These monitor many different health signs and measurements, such as blood pressure, lung function and body weight. This information is stored and automatically sent to a health professional usually via the tlephone line or internet. Health professional who can review this information on a regular basis and contact the patient if required.
Prompts the person or patient to take medications and answer easily programmed questions related to their specific health needs. Collected information is sent daily to a web based server.
Medical peripherals (blood pressure monitors, scales etc) are added to the basic Care Companion to meet the patient's specific health needs. The Care Companion collects the data then sends it to the Care Companion Server.
