Daily living equipment
The types of AT covered here allow the user to control daily living equipment, such as lights, doors, windows, telephone, page turners, etc.
Integrated environmental control system
Allows a person to independently operate domestic or office equipment
Remote operated main switches
Allows the user to switch electrical equipment on and off without going to the controlled device
Robotic arms
Allows a person to manipulate and interact with objects
Robotic vacuum cleaners
Allows a person to automate floor cleaning activities
Substitute Remote controls
Allows the user to operate domestic electronics, e.g. TVs, Radios, Hi-Fi, Camcorders, fans, etc
