Occupancy sensor
These products monitor the use of different types of furniture, like bed or chairs. They can be used to generate alerts of a person has not returned to bed after a set time period (in the case of a fall) or not risen from bed after a certain time in the morning. It can send an alert sent to a monitoring centre. Some of these products are also used to monitor the daily living of a person.products These are usually pads placed underneath the mattress of a bed or the cushion of a chair.
Can be used with an in-bed sensor or a bedside pressure. The in-bed sensor should be placed between the bed base and the mattress with the cable run safely under the bed for a simple plug-in connection to the interface unit. The bedside pressure mat is placed under the carpet on the floor alongside the bed.
The bed occupancy sensor with light will detect when a person has left the bed and not returned within a pre-set time. When they leave the bed during the night, the bed-side light will be automitically switched on
The Care Sensor alarms if a person does not get back into bed within a predefined time period, counts the number of times the bed is left during the night and detects people entering the room when it is armed
An alarm is raised when a person leaves the bed by a pressure mat under the mattress. If the person has not returned within a predefined time, the IntelliLink will call the control centre.
Used with a bed sensor, when a person leaves the bed during the night, the bed-side light will be switched on

Monitors bed occupancy and generates an alarm for a number of different circumstances, including not returning to bed after a set period of time. A chair occupancy sensor is also available.

When the person rises from their bed or chair a loud tone alarm operates until it is switched off. The monitor can be connected to a nurse call system.
