Equipment controls

These devices take actions of the user and send electronic signals that are used as commands to their AT. They are often called input devices.

Breathing

Deliberate sucks or puffs of the breath are converted to commands to operate equipment

Allow a person to use deliberate body actions that alternative controls on the market cannot work with

Any deliberate physical movements of the user that can be made in two dimensions can be used for operating AT

Speech

Speech is converted into commands by a computer to make something happen

Switches/buttons

Any deliberate physical movement in one direction is converted to input to electronic equipment. Just some of the kinds of switches are included here.
